At Body Mantra & Barre, we use a proactive approach to prevent disease and pain through our fitness classes, lifestyle medicine program, and other integrative healing strategies designed to balance the mind, body, and spirit. We strive to form a partnership with our clients to provide inspiration, encouragement, and support so that they may achieve their health and fitness goals.
Lifestyle Medicine involves the use of evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches, such as a predominantly whole food, plant-based diet, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substance use, and other non-drug modalities, to prevent, treat, and, oftentimes, reverse the lifestyle-related, chronic disease that's all too prevalent.
Our Lifestyle Medicine program consists of simple, customized lifestyle measures such as proper diet, proper exercise, and stress reduction that can be thoughtfully and comprehensively integrated into conventional Western medicine practices, as well as unique rituals such as community service to enhance your overall sense of well-being.
