Our yoga programs will teach your children and teens how to use your bodies in a healthy way. they will learn how to manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement. These sessions will help build concentration, increase confidence and positive self-image. Yoga helps restore the body back to balance to help increase immune function and decrease prevention of disease.
Dr. Christine Grimaldi has spent the past two decades teaching mindfulness and yoga for typical and atypical kids. She is the author of "Integrative Strategies for special needs pediatrics and is in the process of publishing her new book, " Integrative Strategies for Chronic Illnesses. She has spent two decades directing and teaching yoga to children with cancer and other specific diseases.
